A Look at ENCHANT in Washington, DC
"In Washington, D.C., ENCHANT is proud to premiere a brand-new never before seen show titled "Santa’s Magic Timepiece," Enchant Founder Kevin Johnston told us. "Along with the exciting new show, the Enchant giant lighted displays come to life for the first time, with motion AND the most advanced computer-controlled light displays ever!"
In "Santa's Magic Timepiece," visitors wander through the maze in search of the missing portions of the Timepiece. Visitors can take a passport with them to get stamped at the various stops along the way. Fully stamped passports are then entered into a sweepstake sponsored by Hallmark.
After enjoying this one-of-a-kind experience, visitors of all ages can take to the ice rink for some classic ice skating fun while listening to carols playing in the background. The ice rink is laid out differently than most and allows for more freedom of movement as guests enjoy the stunning Christmas lights all around Nationals Park.
For those looking for unique gifts and treats, Enchant offers an impressive village full of artisanal vendors selling local goods, as well as popular DC area restaurants serving up delicious meals. To top it off, Hallmark Channel has set up their Holiday House for even more seasonal cheer, and visitors can stop by their wine club booth for a taste of something special. Enchant is truly an unforgettable way to celebrate the holiday season in style!
No two ENCHANT experiences are truly the same, and each experience is a major production. "The show rolls into a city with over 30 trucks and takes over three weeks to assemble," LeeAnne Stables, Chief Marketing Officer at ENCHANT, explained. "This includes covering the playing field with a floor, all the lighting elements, as well as the construction of a custom ice skating trail, and over 100 special vendor huts, performance stages and décor over 10 acres."
