Mall With It All

The nation’s largest mall is a must-see destination for most visitors. In fact, Mall of America draws in more than 40 million visitors each year. Conveniently located off the Light Rail in the south suburbs, Mall of America features more than 500 shops and plenty of attractions. The four-story mall, built in 1992, is home to Macy’s, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and Sears on its four corners. Shoppers often spend hours perusing the mall’s stores—but it would take 86 hours to explore the whole thing if you spend 10 minutes in each store. No day at the mall is complete without a visit to any of its 50 restaurants or many attractions, including seven-acre Nickelodeon Universe amusement park, Underwater Adventures Aquarium, American Girl, MagiQuest and the 14-screen Theaters at Mall of America.
