Brazil’s biggest zoo also claims to be the fourth biggest in the world, with 3,200 animals, including large international mammals and many rare and endangered Brazilian species. These include jaguar, puma in small enclosures, Spix’s macaw—which is extinct in the wild, the critically endangered Lear’s macaw, Harpy eagle, bush dog and maned wolf. Open Tue-Sun 9am-5pm.
