Sonoma International Film Festival brings Hollywood to Wine Country

3/27/19 to 3/31/19

Sip wine and screen films at the 22nd Annual Sonoma International Film Festival from March 27 to 31. Hollywood glamour takes center stage as scenic downtown Sonoma is transformed into a walkable destination for filmmakers, movie fans, and industry professionals.

With films from 22 countries, Sonoma International Film Festival’s selections span cultures, topics, religions, and politics.

Festival highlights include; Tyler Florence’s “Uncrushable,” a heart-wrenching yet uplifting documentary chronicling the deadly Wine Country Fires of 2017; “Accidence” a short film inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rear Window;” and Canadian environmental documentary “Beyond Climate,” which tackles the anxiety-inducing concepts of global distinction.

Bay Area filmmakers are also well represented in this year’s selections including Richard Levien’s “Collisions;” Erin Palmquist’s “From Baghdad to the Bay and Count Eldridge’s “Unsound.”

SIFF’s walkable festival grounds encourage visitors to explore what makes Sonoma unique. Meet new people, dine at a new restaurant, and discover new vintners with the event’s wide selection of wine.

“Enjoy an entirely walkable festival in and around historic Sonoma Plaza as you experience the best in indie films while sipping and savoring delicious wines and local culinary treats,” says SIFF Executive Director Kevin McNeely.

Festival passes range from $240 to $2,400.
