Take a Jaunt Through San Antonio's Deserted River Walk

This may be the first time you've ever seen the iconic attraction completely empty
With more than 14 million visitors a year, the San Antonio River Walk is Texas' most visited attraction. Although spring is usually its busiest season, the social distancing measures set forth in response to the COVID-19 pandemic means the usually packed site is now unpopulated. In early April, photographer Erika Pinkley took to the River Walk to document the temporarily-deserted attraction; what resulted are these photos that are quietly desolate, yet gorgeous nonetheless. All photos ©Erika Pinkley/San Antonio River Walk Association
