Our Outdoor Dining Picks: Phoenix-area Restaurants With Amazing Views

With weather that’s just about perfect year-round, the Phoenix-Scottsdale area is a perfect place to take advantage of the Valley's plentiful restaurant patios. These patios with a view not only offer a place to sit outside and enjoy a drink or a meal but scenic views that can't be beat.

Talavera, Flourish, Different Pointe of View, J&G Steakhouse, Elements at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort and Orange Sky all offer sweeping views of the Valley below, and Lustre Rooftop is set high in the middle of downtown Phoenix and provides a top-down view of surrounding sports and entertainment venues. RnR has a view of Old Town Scottsdale, and All American Sports Grill showcases the famous Fountain Hills fountain. O.H.S.O.’s Arcadia location is set next to the canal, with mountains nearby, and Sassi offers a romantic setting surrounded by desert landscapes.

Just remember that if you plan to enjoy one of these patios with a view during the day, wear sunscreen—the Valley sun can be strong.

Admire the high Sonoran Desert from the dining room or terrace, and the divine prime beef, seafood and wines that are delivered unto those tables.

A southern-Italian, residential-style villa with cuisine to match. Dine in the library, kitchen, a large living room, an intimate room adjacent to the wine cellar, a garden terrace, or on any of several patios.

Lustre Rooftop Garden

Located on the third floor rooftop at the Hotel Palomar Phoenix, this bar/restaurant offers drinks and food with a scenic view of downtown Phoenix. A pool area is the site of summer pool parties.
