Skating Around in Paris

The City of Light's historical Grand Palais is hosting, for the 5th year running, Le Grand Palais des Glaces. The ephemeral ice skating rink, under the glass roof of the exhibition hall, is the largest indoor ice rink in the world, and invites you to show off your figure skating skills from the 13th of December through to the 8th of January. In the giant disco ball there is a space reserved for young skaters to glide safely and a chalet where you can personalise your own Coca-Cola glass bottle with proceeds going to Restos du Coeur, a charity that helps feed those in need. And from 9pm every night Le Grand Palais des Glaces becomes the world's largest ice skating club with a DJ spinning tunes to get skaters moving and entertained with a hypnotic light show.
