Library Hotel

Designed to feel more like a private club than a hotel, each of the Library’s elegantly appointed guest rooms have been individually adorned with a collection of art and books based on one distinctive topic. The topic of each guest room is based on the Dewey Decimal System, with floors dedicated to the 10 major classifications of knowledge, including The Arts, Literature, Philosophy, and Language. Each of the 10 guest room floors honor one of 10 categories of the Dewey Decimal System and each of the 60 rooms are uniquely adorned with a collection of books and art exploring a distinctive topic within the category it belongs to. The Reading Room, Writers Den and Poetry Garden are common spaces in addition to the lobby, where guests are invited to unwind from their urban adventures by enjoying the quiet exploration of more than 6,000 books.

Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, the Library Hotel is just steps away from the New York Public Library, Bryant Park and the exquisitely renovated Grand Central Terminal. The Library is perfectly situated for either business or pleasure, being close to major offices, attractions and restaurants including the onsite Madison & Vine Restaurant and Bookmarks lounge, while also within walking distance of Fifth Avenue shopping, the Times Square Theater District and Empire State Building.
