The nationwide Coronavirus pandemic has provoked the largest shutdown NYC has ever seen. With restaurants and bars closed or restricted as well as any large gathering spaces, Broadway performers and crew members are feeling the hit in a devastating way. But a crisis has a way of bringing people together and it’s inspiring to see the artistic community join together so strongly in such uncertain times. Many have taken to social media to pass along information about food banks, funding pages, petitions imploring legislation to provide assistance. Broadway is the heartbeat of NYC and those who have experienced its magic, know that we must do what we can to protect it. Rosie O’Donnell has answered the call and is rallying the Broadway troopers to help save the day.
A special one-night-only return of The Rosie O’Donnell Show is bringing together some of the biggest names in entertainment (live from their homes!) to benefit The Actors Fund in order to provide aid during the Coronavirus outbreak. This special event is a live, streaming fundraiser presented in partnership with Revelations Entertainment and Broadway.com, “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” will be streamed live on Sunday, March 22 at 7 pm ET on Broadway.com.

Help Save Broadway
In a statement, Rosie said: "Everybody who knows me knows that Broadway has been one of the brightest lights in my life since the time I was a little girl. It has also been the lifeblood of New York City for generation after generation. After all, Broadway has given to the world, now – in this time of tremendous need – it's our turn to give something back. There is no better way to support this community than via The Actors Fund. And, with a line-up like this, I dare you not to tune in."
Make sure to tune in on Sunday for what is sure to be the biggest streaming event of the year. If you feel inspired to donate to The Actor’s Fund prior to the live concert, click here for the donations page. So mark your calendars because you’re not gonna want to miss this!
