What is Christmas without Chinese food? The Lotus + Cleaver holiday takeout box ($225 and serves up to six) has all your favorite Chinese delicacies. Choose between rotisserie duck or pomegranate glazed ham for the main course. Sides include sesame cucumber salad, 8 treasure sticky rice in lotus leaf, and Chinese cauliflower with sweet soy. Finish with a Chinese egg tart with fig brûlée. Orders must be placed thru Resy by December 19 and holiday boxes can be picked up at Jacx & Co food hall in Long Island City.
Amali's sustainable Mediterranean cuisine will cover every holiday meal this year. They have several holiday packages to meet your festive dining needs. Their "Feast of the Seven Fishes Chef's Tasting Menu" (available December 24) features bluefin tartare, caviar, grilled octopus in a Meyer lemon and chili vinaigrette, grilled Spanish branzino, and butter-poached lobster with leeks and tomato confit. Wine pairings can be added for an extra charge. The "Christmas Morning Pastry and Champagne" box includes brown butter chocolate chip cookies, pistachio bread, cinnamon rolls, and a DIY mimosa kit. Pick-up is available on Christmas Eve and limited delivery on Christmas day. The Christmas evening meal includes winter chicories with fennel, burrata, tagliatelle bolognese with veal, and a choice of milk suckling pig porchetta or grilled Spanish branzino. Each package is $145, $150, and $115, respectively.

There are two options, a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian box, but both feature Cabot cheddar focaccia with baked pumpkin and charred onion jam, chicory salad, and an apple galette for dessert. The pasta courses feature manicotti stuffed with either shiitake mushrooms or Maine lobster. The main events are either chili braised lamb or a roasted carrot cassoulet. Orders must be placed a week in advance and are available for pickup or delivery to all five boroughs for $165 per order.
Chef Soogil Lim is Korean-born but honed his French cooking technique for seven years under Chef Daniel Boulud (three as sous chef). He's now blending his French and Korean inspirations at his own restaurant and they're offering sumptuous meal kits for the holidays ($95 per person). Savor maitake mushroom veloute, kampachi, Hudson Valley Farm foie gras with poached peaches, and beef wellington. Save room for the black truffle panna cotta with chocolate for dessert. The menu is available for pickup or delivery on December 24 and 25. Make the season a little brighter and order the champagne and caviar box or send it as a gift. It's a decadent holiday treat!
