What could be more luxurious than cocktails, champagne and oysters? On the corner of Bowery and Delancy, Sel Rrose has some of the best oysters and beverage accompaniments in the area. The oyster happy hour (5 p.m.-7 p.m.) features $1 oysters as well as specials on select drinks. After happy hour ends, a dozen Montauk Pearl oysters will run you $26, and Little Neck clams are only $1.25 apiece.

Sustainable seafood is the name of the game at Grand Army. Oyster happy hour is from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. on weekdays and 2 p.m.-4 p.m. on weekends. During happy hour a dozen oysters are only $25, and draft beers and wine are a dollar off. The breed of oysters rotates, but Peekie or Genuine from Peconic Bay are frequently in rotation. The Ten Bells

The happy hour at The Ten Bells is one of the longer oyster specials in the city. Every day from opening until 7 p.m., oysters are only a buck, and a carafe of wine is only $18. If you miss happy hour, don't worry. Oysters are still available for $2.50 each. Barnstable, St. Simon and Mantunuck are the most common breeds listed on the menu. The rest of the food selections are primarily small plates, and there are plenty from which to choose!

Littleneck

The daily oyster selection at Littleneck in Gowanus comes with lemon and a classic mignonette. You can also enjoy oysters alongside clams and shrimp if you order the "Gowanus Plateau" or with the addition of ceviche and half a chilled lobster on the "Glory Plateau." At happy hour, oysters are only $1.50! Pair them with a sparkling sip of blanc de blanc or a chilly glass of orange pinot gris.
