Gentry's Farm

This historic working farm is set against Franklin's rolling hills. The pristine, 400-acre farm has been owned by seven generations of Gentrys for over 165 years, and is now in the hands of Allen and Cindy Gentry. Here, you'll find patches of pick-your-own pumpkins, hay fields and herds of beef cattle. Local farmers rent plots of the vast land for crops of winter wheat, corn and soybeans. Seasonal programming, including a fall corn maze, summer camp and spring field trips, reflect the family's focus on education and community.

Gentry's is open to the public every weekend in the fall. Fall activity tickets: $7 (ages 2-65). Open to the public Sept. 26-Oct. 31: Saturdays 9 am-5 pm, Sundays 1-5 pm; last admission at 4:15 pm. From Oct. 5-26, Gentry’s will also be open to the public on Mondays 9 am-noon; last admission at 11:15 am.
