McCreery has had a hugely successful career since winning American Idol, with hit songs, headlining tours, awards and even a book under his belt. This year, he's adding "father" to his list of titles as his wife Gabi gave birth to the couple's first child in October.

Celebrating the Holidays With Scotty McCreery

Opry Country Christmas

"Christmas music to me—I sing it year-round. I mean, ask my band! On the bus, they get tired of hearing me sing "White Christmas" and stuff. So while I'm sure we'll be doing our favorite Christmas songs, we typically throw in a Country Christmas and then an Elvis Christmas because I think Elvis's Christmas record is the best. That's always been my favorite. We'll just have fun, and I'm sure we'll play some of our songs as well. So it'll be very holly jolly."

Family Traditions

"It's always fun during the holidays with our families. We kind of trade-off with our families. Thanksgiving with one family, Christmas with the other. This Thanksgiving is my family, and everybody just kind of comes to my folk's house, and it's just a big old family shindig. Christmas, we always flip-flop every year. This year, it's with Gabi's family. So we're going down to New Orleans this year. That's where all her family's from big Cajun Christmas with a little guy. So it'll be fun."

Christmas in Nashville

"I tell you, it's always fun to go to Gaylord Opryland and just see all the decorations and what they do. And it's just beautiful there, and it's just there's just a magic to the air. You know, there's Christmas music playing on Broadway, and it's just a fun time and every now, and then you get a little bit of snow. ItThey might come in January or February, but it's always pretty when the city's covered in white snow. I love it." Scotty McCreery is sure to bring some holiday cheer to Nashville with his performance at the Opry Country Christmas. Don't miss out on seeing the country star in action!
