Vizcaya is a National Historic Landmark that preserves the Miami estate of agricultural industrialist James Deering. Opened in 1916, this magnificent museum is an example of when the nation’s most successful entrepreneurs built lavish estates inspired by the stately homes of Europe. The Main House features more than 2,500 art objects and furnishings. Open W-M from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
