Pegasus World Cup Championship Returns to South Florida

Ladies, gather your finest chapeaus, and gentleman, get out your finest seersucker getups. The Pegasus World Cup returns to Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach for its fourth year on Saturday, January 25.

The Thoroughbred event comprises two races: The 2020 Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes ($3 million purse) and the 2020 Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes ($1 million purse). Two percent of the winnings will go to Thoroughbred aftercare. New this year: Races will be run without race-day medication.

Dubbed “the horse race of the future," the Pegasus World Cup offers a fresh and elevated schedule that blends entertainment, innovation and horse racing like no other event of its kind. The race-day experience includes celebrities, performances by major stars, incredible food and fashion and a LIV Stretch pop-up trackside.
