Miami Beach's Inviting Lounges

Locals, newcomers enjoy a combination of hot restaurants and cool lounges, which create a perfect environment for a night on the town

Hopping from bar to bar might be ideal for some people’s idea of a fun night out, but for those who want it all in one place, there’s the restaurant lounge. For a single place to dine, cozy up at the bar for a drink and enjoy the music in a lounge, check out this trio that reside in sultry Miami Beach:

1826

Named for its location on iconic Collins Avenue, anyone who remembers the name of the restaurant will never forget where to find it. The dining room within 1826 (check out the machine-gun lamp shade) is headed by Michelin-star Chef Danny Grant, who put together a menu of fresh vegetable dishes, steaks, lamb, short rib and fish. Smaller dishes are also served in the lounge upstairs, where the music will get you in the mood to start the night, and the bar is where you’ll find handmade cocktails with farm-fresh ingredients. 1826 Collins Ave., 305.763.8860

HaVen South Beach

Nestled on busy Lincoln Road, the popping restaurant features an 110-inch video wall with an impressive array of digital lighting. For food, choose a menu of all-organic dishes, including sushi and sashimi plates, salads, pot stickers, sliders, skewers and other light fare. To accompany your bites, HaVen's drink menu is a never-ending collection of cocktails, beers, wines, champagne and sake. Later in the evening, DJs from around the world are scheduled to spin tunes. 1237 Lincoln Road, 305.987.8885

Cavalli Miami

Opened by designer Roberto Cavalli in 2013, the zebra-and-cheetah-print lounge is something you have to see to believe. Dine on Tuscan-inspired food with fresh, seasonal ingredients such as wild boar ravioli, Maine lobster, veal chop and Cavalli’s own seafood pasta recipe. Then in the lounge, enter a world of animal-print couches—even the ceiling!—and electric lights. Special events are hosted throughout the week, so there will always be a time you can join in the fun. 150 Ocean Drive, 305.695.4191
