Maui’s Superstar

Tony left his heart in San Francisco, Chicago has Ol’Blue Eyes, but Maui has Willie K! This multi-talented virtuoso was literally brought up entertaining at his father’s knee. Manu Kahaiali’i, one of Hawaii’s most respected musicians, steeped his son, Willie, in all manner of music—Hawaiian, jazz, country, you name it. He’s performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” before thousands. He’s done opera. But we like him best when he plays local-style—Hawaiian slack-key guitar, soft or rock, music that’s close to our hearts. Not only did he learn the music, but his charisma is second only to his strumming and crooning talents. For his schedule, check his website.
