Your Guide to “Bat Out of Hell: The Musical”

The Venue

“Bat Out of Hell: The Musical” marks the return of the Theatre at Paris Las Vegas. “Bat Out of Hell” comes to the Paris Hotel at a really special moment,” Jay Scheib, Director of “Bat Out of Hell: The Musical,” told us. “Having been closed for a number of months, the foyer and bar area have all been completely renovated to give the Bat Out of Hell experience a beautiful and welcoming feel. The Theater also offers a gorgeous immediacy and an intimacy that we have embraced—there’s no bad seat in the house.”

You’ll find the theatre by the front desk of Paris Las Vegas. “There are a lot of shows in Las Vegas, some of which are great, but there’s nothing like “Bat Out of Hell,” Scheib said of the venue. “And the Paris Theater, right at the heart of The Strip—we couldn’t ask for a more perfect home. We’re filled with gratitude to be here and so happy to welcome one and all.”

What to Expect

If you’re a fan of Meat Loaf or Jim Steinman’s music, then you’re in for a treat! The show features all of their greatest hits, including “I Would Do Anything for Love,” “Paradise by the Dashboard Light,” and “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad.” The cast is also top-notch, featuring performers Travis Cormier (who plays Strat), Alize Cruz (Raven) and Travis Cloer (Falco), to name a few.

“Travis Cormier will knock your socks off. Jim Steinman always said he was looking for a “voice like an angel, “and in Travis, we found something extraordinary,” Scheib told us of the cast. “Fresh from the independent rock scene, this is Travis’ first musical, and he’s terrific. Truly a gifted actor and an unbelievable singer. And then there are these other amazing talents like JeShaun Jackson, Freddy Pommee, Mecca Hicks and Alizé Cruz—alongside Vegas legends like Travis Cloer and the inimitable Anne Martinez. This is an ensemble, and it’s thrilling to see what these guys bring to the performance every night.”

“We have really focused on the music and sort of pared everything down to the essential storyline: a young couple willing to do anything to be together, even as her parents fight to stay together,” Scheib said of the 85-minute set. “Bat Out of Hell” is a dual love story and a rock and roll adventure of epic proportions!” This isn’t your typical Las Vegas show. “It’s a real Broadway-style musical with real soul— a rock ‘n’ roll soul,” Scheib explained. “It’s leading the pioneering charge of bringing back award-winning musicals to The Strip.”
