It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, especially if you’re in Las Vegas! That’s because Terry Fator, the ventriloquist, impressionist, and singer who won America’s hearts on “America’s Got Talent,” is bringing back his holiday show “A Very Terry Christmas” to the New York-New York Hotel & Casino from November 25 through December 27.

“A Very Terry Christmas” Returns This Holiday Season

If you’re not familiar with Terry Fator, he’s one of the most successful winners of “America’s Got Talent.” Not only did he win the show, but he went on to sign one of the most lucrative deals in Las Vegas history—a five-year $100 million contract at The Mirage (he moved over to New York-New York Hotel & Casino with his new show "Terry Fator: Who's the Dummy Now?" after his residency ended in 2020). He’s also had two comedy specials air on NBC, and he continues to tour around the country. His holiday show at New York-New York Hotel & Casino is one of the hottest tickets in town.

What to Expect at “A Very Terry Christmas”

“For the 14th straight year, I have decided against any puppet nudity, so if you’re hoping for that, you’re out of luck,” Fator joked. “I have a great mix this year…traditional holiday songs, funny new sketches, new parody songs. It’s got heart and humor, comedy and, of course, my favorite part: Christmas!”

If you’ve never seen Terry Fator before, you’re in for a treat. His shows are a mix of stand-up comedy, incredible impressions, and amazing singing. He does it all with the help of his friends - a cast of over 15 different puppets that he’s collected over the years.

“I have a new jacket. Well, actually, it’s the same jacket, but I got it dry-cleaned,” Fator said about show updates. “But seriously, everyone loves what we did last year with our parody of 12 Days of Christmas talking about the events of the past year; we have a brand new version that chronicles all the big events of 2022. I believe you’ll think it’s hysterical. And, as always, we love to sprinkle in atopical jokes throughout the show as well.”

While Fator is beloved by audiences, so are his puppets. Some of his most famous characters include Winston the Impersonating Turtle, Emma Taylor (a 7-year-old Brit), Albert Einstein and Julius (a monkey who likes to drink champagne). So will we see some of our favorite characters this season? “Yes, I will be there. Oh, you mean the cast!” Fator joked. “We have all the characters fans love. Winston the Impersonating Turtle, country legend Walter T Airdale, Maynard the World’s Greatest Elvis Impersonator and Duggie, America’s favorite slacker reminding us of his holiday, Juana, and many more beloved A Very Terry Christmas characters.”

“A Very Terry Christmas” at New York-New York Hotel & Casino

If you haven’t seen Fator’s show at New York-New York Hotel & Casino yet, you’re in for a treat. “The main difference, I feel, is that the venue I’ve chosen at NYNY has a much more intimate feel, so people will really feel as though they are at a Christmas party with me and my characters, which has always been my main goal with my holiday show. I want us all to feel like family at a holiday party,” Fator explained. “Also, the parody songs and fresh jokes make it a fun evening for everyone, regardless of what holiday you celebrate.”

So what does Terry Fator hope to bring to the holiday season this year? “The same thing I want to bring them every holiday season,” he told us. “The chance to have a good time together and something we all need after a tough year, laughter and an escape from the stresses of our daily lives.”

No matter your age or sense of humor, there’s something for everyone at “A Very Terry Christmas.” And since it’s taking place in Las Vegas, you know there will be plenty of holiday cheer (and maybe even a little Sin City debauchery) thrown into the mix. So whether you’re looking for a fun night out with friends or family or just need a good laugh this holiday season, make sure to catch “A Very Terry Christmas.” You won’t be disappointed!
