Gordon Ramsay Steak
Steak-loving fans of “Hell’s Kitchen” can enjoy some of Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay’s specialties at Gordon Ramsay Steak inside Paris Las Vegas. Here, you’ll find prime steaks, American Wagyu and Japanese A5 Wagyu on the menu, so you’ll know it’s some of the best quality you can find. If you’re feeling indulgent, try the restaurant’s tasting menu, including British favorites like the Scotch eggs and the sticky toffee pudding. The sophisticated One Steakhouse is located at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas (the new steakhouse took over the former space of MB Steak). In addition to a selection of great steaks, you’ll find a wide variety of seafood entrees and chilled seafood. The centerpiece of the bar area sets the mood for your meal with color-changing LED lights that cast a glow over the space. “This is over 3,000 pieces of glass,” the Morton Brothers told us, “What you’ll typically get in a meal will usually be two colors. If you’re here for a long time, you might see three colors.”
The unique Bazaar Meat by José Andrés is located inside SAHARA Las Vegas. This wild and wonderful celebration of meat features the most extensive selections we’ve ever seen in Las Vegas—the starters list offers up three different caviar flights, numerous types of tartare, oysters, carpaccios (including bison) and cured meats. Then come the big guys from the fire pit—two types of Spanish-style, bone-in rib eye, and the pièce de résistance: a suckling pig, available whole or by the quarter. Steaks here are categorized by size (some are priced per pound), and there are various wagyu options on the “Tasting Through Japan” portion of the menu. If you’re feeling adventurous (and splurgy), try one of the restaurant’s tasting menus for genuine culinary exploration.
This stylish steakhouse is located inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and brings some of the most glamorous ambiances you’ll find in a steakhouse. The steaks at STK Steakhouse are categorized by size (small, medium and large) to cater to different appetites. The restaurant also has numerous seafood options if anyone in your party is leaning pescatarian. If you’re running low on time (or funds), stop by for cocktail hour when the restaurant features half-priced specialty cocktails and $7 menu items on weekdays (Monday-Thursday from 4 p.m.-6 p.m.).
Old Homestead Steakhouse
Complemented by sultry décor, dark woods and burgundy leather booths, Old Homestead Steakhouse at Caesars Palace makes you feel at home even before you order. A family tradition that started with the New York City location, brothers Marc and Greg Sherry bring succulent tastes of the East Coast to Las Vegas, such as porterhouse for two and the legendary Ribeye Gotham, the must-have here. You can also splurge on A5 Wagyu and add truffle butter to anything.
The Steakhouse at Circus Circus
One of the most lauded steakhouses in Las Vegas is actually a hidden gem. The Steakhouse at Circus Circus Las Vegas has been voted Best of Las Vegas for more than 20 years by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and was recently named the top steakhouse in Vegas by Zagat. The award-winning restaurant features mesquite-grilled steaks (the grill uses approximately 200 pounds of mesquite wood charcoal from Mexico each night), prime rib, lobster and crab legs in a traditional steakhouse setting complemented by impeccable service.
Heritage Steak at The Mirage
Chef extraordinaire Tom Colicchio keeps the home fires burning at Heritage Steak, where he perfects the art of cooking over an open flame—and everything from the short rib to the seduction selection of steaks is moist, tender and delicious every time. The refined restaurant sits beneath the Mirage’s sky atrium, which makes for an even more romantic experience as the evening progresses.
Joe Vicari's Andiamo Italian Steakhouse
Located inside The D Las Vegas, Joe Vicari's Andiamo Italian Steakhouse combines chophouse classics and traditional Italian cuisine. We visited during a hosted media dinner and were delighted by the sleek booths and classic vibes of the dining room. The menu features the best of both worlds with a variety of pasta dishes and seafood specials alongside the menu of numerous cuts. The sides are family-style sizes, so be sure to order accordingly.
Golden Steer Steakhouse
This local favorite has been around since the 50s. With three prime rib cuts, Golden Steer Steakhouse is frequently noted as the best local steakhouse in Las Vegas. Besides steaks, the restaurant also has numerous seafood and Italian entrees (like the Dover sole that is boned tableside or the famous Chicken of the Angels) with a la carte and combination dinner options. Located inside New York-New York, Gallagher’s Steakhouse is the quintessential New York steakhouse modeled after the original from Manhattan that opened in 1927. Here, you’ll find prime rib and numerous wet-aged and dry-aged steaks along with a classic raw bar and various classic seafood appetizers. Pair your prime rib with one of many accompaniments like the King Crab Oscar or sides such as the colossal baked potato.
