Holiday Bars in Las Vegas
Mas Por Favor
If you're a big fan of "The Nightmare Before Christmas," make sure to stop by Mas Por Favor before December 29 to see the "Nightmare Before XMÁS" pop-up. We were treated to a hosted preview and found the space is fully decked out in decor to match the classic Tim Burton film with food and beverage specials to match. Check out the "Zero Bones" (baked loin ribs), "Frog's Breath Pozole" (with salsa verde), the "Pumpkin King Cheesecake Brûlée" and more delightful dining options. The cocktail list includes fun, themed concoctions like the "Oogie Boogie," "Jack Skellington," "Sally Apple Punch." Make sure to book reservations in advance as the space does book up quickly (a $50 per person minimum is required, and there is a two-hour time limit for visits).
Bar Delle Meraviglie
Don’t worry if you haven’t had the chance to enjoy any of the holiday pop-ups or events. Al Solito Posto’s special “Bar Delle Meraviglie” is available to visit through January 9. We visited during a hosted media visit and found a festive outdoor space filled with holiday cheer (and heat lamps to keep diners nice and toasty). “In Italy, Christmas is celebrated for 31 days starting around December 8, and sweets-—especially cookies—play an important role in the celebrations,” Beverage Director David Bonatesta explained in a press release. “We thought, what better way to bring a little Italian holiday tradition to Las Vegas than to offer specialty cocktails & cookies for the season?” Exclusive cocktails are available through January 9 and include the “Italian Hot Cider,” “Mela Delicata,” and the “Spiced Winter Old Fashioned.” A special hot chocolate is available as well and can be made with Fernet Branca Menta or Amaro Averna.
Here Christmas Kitty
If you haven't visited Here Kitty Kitty inside Resorts World Las Vegas, the holiday season is the perfect time to stop in (we got a special media preview). The speakeasy hidden behind Ms. Meow's Mamak Stall is fully decked out for the holidays (complete with Santa Claus and the Grinch for perfect photos) and has several unique holiday cocktails, including the "Hot White," "Palm Springs Holiday," "Yuletide Punch," and "El Paso Nog." If you're hoping to check out the space with something "zero-proof," check out "The Remix" and "Like & Subscribe" for your mocktail fix.
Dashing Through the Bars
If you’re in search of holiday cocktails, Downtown Las Vegas has the perfect option (we tested it out at a hosted media experience). Dashing Through the Bars is the perfect way to experience five different bars around the Fremont Street area. Visit Barcanada at The D Las Vegas and One Bar at Golden Gate Hotel & Casino. Then make your way to Circa Hotel & Casino to visit three of the bars inside Downtown Las Vegas’s newest property. You’ll get to stop at the stunning Legacy Club rooftop bar, Vegas Vickie’s with the famous neon cowgirl and MEGA BAR, the longest bar in Nevada. Tickets can be purchased here at the Circa Hotel & Casino website for now through December 30. The drinks are quite strong, so be safe and rideshare or get a room downtown.
Bad Elf Pop-Up Bar
Located inside Shady Grove Bar & Lounge at Silverton Casino Hotel. We checked it out during a hosted media preview and had a look at the fun holiday-themed cocktails (especially adorable in their holiday cups and glasses) along with the fun snacks and menu items. The bar is fully decked out in holiday decor with 27 elves (see if you can find them all), string lights and plenty of cheer. If you're in the mood for some competition, check out the Airstream bowling alley, where you can play a game for $3.
The Garden Las Vegas
On December 17, The Garden Las Vegas will be presenting “Ho Ho Ho! A Very Drag Christmas - A Holi-slay Spectacular!” The production will include numerous holiday-themed performances from local drag queens, including Salem Night, Des’ree St James and Chevis Regal. The show will also feature fan favorites from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” like Coco Montrese and Alexis Mateo. The show starts at 12:30 a.m.
The Garden Las Vegas will also host “Grinchmas” on December 26 with Greater Heights Creative. The show will include a variety show from numerous local artists, including performers from Cirque du Soleil. Join your Grinch host at this free event but consider booking a VIP table or purchasing bottles—20% of all proceeds will benefit Project 150 and provide aid for the homeless youth population.
Miracle on Spring Mountain
For some serious holiday cheer (especially in cocktail form), the Miracle on Spring Mountain pop-up at The Sand Dollar Lounge is a fantastic option for the 21 and over crowd. The local watering hole is fully decked out through New Year's Eve with around $20,000 of decor perfect for holiday photos. The Miracle on Spring Mountain pop-up also includes exclusive pizza pop-ups with some fantastic local chefs such as Gina Marinelli of La Strega and Harlo and Nick Dugan of Bardot Brasserie (by Michael Mina). The pizza pop-ups will also benefit various Las Vegas charities. Miracle on Spring Mountain will also have numerous themed events, entertainment and a long list of specialty holiday-themed cocktails exclusive to Miracle on Spring Mountain. The Sand Dollar Lounge is the official Las Vegas home to the Mracle Bar Popup.
