Fabulous Spring 2019 Dallas-Fort Worth Festivals

Hear that? It's a music festival coming your way and calling your name

The birds are chirping, the sun’s warm rays are prime for basking in, and verdant greens and a cornucopia of colors abound. Now’s the perfect time to head outdoors for a music festival! And the Metroplex proudly obliges—celebrate the May and June festival season with this diverse slate of entries from the planet’s largest stars—they’re fun for all ages and genre-lovers.

KAABOO TEXAS

A live music experience designed around comfort and hospitality, Kaaboo (May 10-12) offers tantalizing cuisine options to create an escape with comedy and art, in addition to music. If you’re there for big, you’ll sure find it—headliners include The Killers, Alanis Morissette, Blue October (frontman Justin Furstenfeld, pictured), Lynyrd Skynyrd and Sting.

OFF THE RAILS COUNTRY MUSIC FEST

Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Sam Hunt and Lauren Alaina top the bill at this two-day (May 14-15) country showcase in North Texas. There are also food trucks, craft beer and outdoor party games.

EXODUS MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL

Kirk Franklin, who made his debut in the ’90s and is known as a trailblazer for helping to change the sound of gospel music, headlines the second-annual Exodus Music & Arts fest (May 26).

MILLER LITE MUSIC FESTIVAL

Dallas Pride moves to June in 2019, and this fabulous music fest (June 1) kicks off the festivities. There’s so much more than live entertainment, though. Visit community and merchant vendor booths, pet adoptions, the Family Pride Zone and Teen Pride.
