This October, carve out time for a new, magical adventure coming to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Not your garden-variety pumpkin patch, the month-long Pumpkin Nights takes “heroes” along a half-mile walk (wheelchair and stroller accessible) through seven Pumpkin Lands with dazzling, multi-sensory Halloween displays, live entertainment and vendors offering food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Watch artists carve giant pumpkins, enjoy games and view “The Nightmare Before Christmas” while sipping hot or cold drinks and savoring treats.
Pumpkin Nights runs 5:30-10:30 pm Oct. 10-Nov. 3 at Howell Farms in Arlington. Purchase tickets online, as only a limited number of tickets will be available on site. Parking is $6 per car.
Pumpkin Lands are created with more than 3,000 artistically hand-carved, real and synthetic pumpkins. Visit Forbidden Pumpkin City, Monster Mash, Great Pumpkin Hall, Maravilla Lane, Pumpkin Pirate Cove, Pumpkin Reef and Enchanted Pumpkin Forest. Each Pumpkin Land has a festive spirit and a land guardian that will guide “heroes” or guests through a magical quest as they discover and preserve the spirit of Halloween.
The celebration continues with entertainment and games in the Pumpkin Central festival area. Engaging activities include a Spirit of Pumpkin Fire Show, food and beverages, outdoor movie screenings, a pumpkin patch and more.
Pumpkin Nights was founded in 2016 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds to showcase local artists and celebrate this magical time of year without the gore and scares. This year, Pumpkin Nights can also be found in Salt Lake City, Denver, Los Angeles and Santa Rosa, California.
