Double the Fun With Australia's Airtrain

An enjoyable and affordable adventure awaits with Airtrain on the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

As two of Australia’s most vibrant cities, Brisbane and Gold Coast are jam-packed with attractions and activities that are fun for the whole family. From scooting around on a Segway on Brisbane’s South Bank to indoor skydiving on the Gold Coast, there’s certainly never a dull moment, and Airtrain is an excellent option for getting you around.

Airtrain is an excellent option for getting around

Fast, affordable and efficient, Airtrain runs regularly from Brisbane Airport’s Domestic and International terminals, all the way to the Gold Coast, stopping at Brisbane city and suburbs in between. The full journey takes just under two hours, there’s free Wi-Fi connectivity, discounts and packages, and a Train & Transfer door-to-door service which gets you from Gold Coast Airtrain stations to your accommodation in a privately chauffeured car.

Once you’re dropped off at your accommodation, get out and explore the sights along Surfers Paradise Boulevard. Jump on the G:link which stops at a range of fun attractions including Infinity, Ripley’s Believe it or Not!, and the ultimate indoor skydiving adventure, iFLY Gold Coast.

iFLY offers a safe and fun way to experience flying

Featuring state-of-the-art facilities including one of the world’s biggest vertical wind tunnels, iFLY offers a safe and fun way for people of all ages to defy gravity and fly. After a safety briefing, get geared up and head into the wind tunnel where a qualified instructor will guide you through your flight, and then fly with you to the very top and down again for a truly exhilarating ride. You can even get Frequent iFLYER membership where you’ll gain flying experience and get trained to do some awesome moves.

Nearby, you’ll find the iconic Q1, Australia’s tallest skyscraper with SkyPoint Observation deck. Located on the 77th floor, 230 metres above sea level, it is Australia’s only beachside observation deck and the views are spectacular. Learn more about the region through information zones and a mini-doco, grab a bite at Seventy7 Café + Bar, and get the adrenaline pumping on the SkyPoint climb while revelling in unparalleled views across beautiful beaches, the city skyline, and lush hinterland.

Enjoy spectacular views from SkyPoint Observation deck

As the sun sets, stroll along the famous Surfers Paradise beach, or jump back on the G:link and head north to the eclectic QT Gold Coast. However you decide to play at QT, there’s no doubt it offers an excellent setting for winding down the day and starting the night.

You can also head to Brisbane city on the Airtrain. There’s a ‘break in journey’ ticket at no extra cost if you are heading from Brisbane to the Gold Coast, if you let staff know in advance. Plus, children under 14 travel free.
