Join New England Patriots running back James White for an evening of bowling, auction and raffle prizes. The fundraiser Sweet Feet for Strikes is a bowling event on Monday, Sept. 16, held in support of the Boston Medical Center. Several Patriots alumni and special guests will be in attendance, participating in a bowling tournament and auction to raise money for the BMC.
With the support of a large number of pro athletes (former attendees include Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and Randy Moss), Sweet Feet for Strikes has raised more than $2.5 million for the BMC in the past nine years. This year marks its 10th anniversary. The event was historically spearheaded by fellow Patriot icon Jerod Mayo, but White has taken up the torch after co-hosting the past few years and has even put his stamp on the event, changing the name to reflect his football nickname, Sweet Feet.
The event is at Kings Dining & Entertainment in Denham and check-in begins at 6 pm. There are only 100 general admission tickets available, which allow you to watch the action and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks, while supporting a good cause. The general admission ticket does not entitle you to join in the bowling.
A silent auction, live auction and raffle are also part of the event. The silent auction will open a few days before the event and bids can be placed through the online mobile bidding system. The raffle and live auction will take place on the day of the event, with White playing the auctioneer. Must be 21+ to attend. For more information, visit sweetfeetforstrikes.com.
