Slurp Up Legal Sea Foods Boston's Month-Long Oyster Festival

Get your bivalve beauties raw, steamed, baked and fried during the month-long Oyster Festival

Legal Sea Foods wants to remind everyone that summer isn’t over yet—the 11th Annual Oyster Festival takes place through Oct. 9.

At its many locations throughout the Boston area, oyster specials abound. Some yearly favorites include fried oysters three for $12, with preparation options of buffalo, BBQ, sriracha lime and BLT, as well as the baked oysters three for $14 available in lobster spinach, crab & cheese, scampi and scallop-mushroom.

Bivalve specialties will be the highlights during the festival, and the Legal Sea Foods team will shuck seasonal standouts at their raw bars for diners that prefer these beauties “au naturel.” A signature cocktail of the Oyster Festival called “The Deadrise,” (Tito’s Handmade Vodka, muddled cucumber, lime and grapefruit bitters) will help wash everything down.

Legal Sea Foods is an iconic name in Boston dining, with nearly 30 restaurants bearing the Legal name throughout the Boston area, including flagship restaurant Legal Harborside, Legal Oysteria and Legal Crossing.
