In a new study by InsureMyTrip, the Georgia Aquarium ranks No. 9 among the most popular virtual tour experiences searched for on Google. In the spirit of this study, we've rounded up the best virtual animal experiences in the Atlanta area, whether they be webcams, videos or drone tours. 

Georgia Aquarium

The Georgia Aquarium has a wealth of webcams that will keep you busy for hours, if not days—it's fitting for the largest aquarium in the Western Hemisphere. Check out the Ocean Voyager webcam, which showcases whale sharks, a piranha webcam, the Southern sea otter webcam and many more. 

Zoo Atlanta

After being soothed by ocean creatures, it's time for something playful. Enter the pandas at Zoo Atlanta. Watch the cuddly creatures eat, sleep and play through the zoo's PandaCam; you'll be glad you did!

The Chehaw Park and Zoo may be a few hours south of Atlanta, so a virtual visit is the way to go. The zoo is home to 73 species such as rhinoceroses. bobcats, lemurs and flamingos. You can meet the animals on its Facebook page.

Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary

Noah's Ark is home to exotic animals, farm animals and rehabilated wildlife. In all, more than 1,500 gorgeous creatures live at the animal sanctuarty. Visit them at Noah's Ark's YouTube page

The Rock Ranch

The Rock Ranch is a working cattle ranch and farm founded by Chick-fil-A's S. Truett Cathy. Learn about farm animals and watch them go about their daily lives on its Facebook page.
