If you’ve ever wondered how the world’s 24-hour news giant runs and want to get in on the action, the 55-minute walking tour of Atlanta’s CNN studios is a fun way to get your fix. The tour leads you through a web of studios, takes you on a ride on the world’s largest freestanding escalator, shows you a mock newsroom and demonstrates how a TelePrompter works. While you’re there, test your weather-reporting skills on a green screen and snap a picture behind the news desk.
Tours depart every 10 minutes. Tickets: adults $16, seniors and students $15, children (4-12) $13; VIP tour $35; Morning Express tour $49. 9 am-5 pm (daily).
