Super Fun Outside the Dome
OK, so you may not be fortunate enough to hold a golden ticket to Super Bowl XLVII. But Beyoncé performing during halftime is only one of this month’s Super Bowl highlights. Gear up for the game by taking in a few of these adjunct events.

Jan. 30-Feb. 3: Super Bowl XLVII Experience
The Morial Convention Center morphs into a massive football-themed playground for both adult fans and pint-size pros in the making. 900 Convention Center Blvd.

Jan. 31-Feb. 3 Super Bowl Boulevard

Feb. 1: Super Bowl Gospel Celebration

Feb. 2: Taste of the NFL

Ongoing: 'Gridiron Glory' at the National World War II Museum
Tour the "Gridiron Glory" exhibit at the National World War II Museum. The 5,000-square-foot traveling exhibit, culled from the Pro Football Hall of Fame archives, traces the history of professional football from its inception in the late 19th century to today. "Glory" features more than 200 items spotlighting the sport’s most pivotal players (from Jim Thorpe to Drew Brees), colorful coaches and storied games. Highlights include the first pro contract signed in 1892, an interactive instant-replay booth, rare audio and video clips, and related ephemera, along with tributes to players who served during WWII.
